Restorative yoga: the yoga of un-doing.  Undoing the stress of daily life or the effects of illness.  

With the body completely supported by props such as bolsters and blankets, this practice facilitates improved respiration and deep relaxation.  Deeply relaxed, a calm, still peace (Santi) pervades, and awareness of Dukha (suffering) recedes.  This stillness allows the body to heal.

Restorative Yoga is for everybody and no prior experience is necessary.  It is beneficial for people recovering from illness and/or surgery and can be very helpful to the woman enjoying her healthy pregnancy.  The only requirement is to bring an open mind and allow the Un-Doing to unfold.
